So it appears as though Bandai Namco have graced us with a demo for Tales of Arise on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. No word on PC yet (sorry master race fans).
That’s not the only good news, it appears that the demo isn’t going to be a timed release, which means it’ll be completely possible for you to play this demo all the way up until the full game launches on 9th September 2021.
You can play this demo all the way up until the full game launchesHok on Tales of Arise Demo
There doesn’t appear to be any given time to when the demo will be available for you to download and play so it might be a case of checking your local game store until you see the demo pop up and you are able to download it.
So… you better keep refreshing!
What is Tales of Arise?
For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom.
Our tale begins with two people, Alphen and Shionne, born on different worlds, each looking to change their fate and create a new future.
Featuring a diverse cast of characters, intuitive and rewarding combat system, and a captivating story set in a lush world worth fighting for, Tales of Arise delivers a first-class JRPG experience.
What is in the demo?
It is said to be a complete slice of the full game, with little to no limitations on what can be done in said part although Bandai Namco have stated ‘to be expect far more options and modes in the full release’.
Also, character progression will not carry on into the main game. So grinding will offer you no advantage when the game drops in September.
According to sources, the demo is around an hour long and will allow you to embrace all six playable characters so you can get a real hands on experience.
I am hitting refresh constantly as you’re reading this in the hopes I can get some time on the demo before real adulting has to begin. Wish me luck.
