Square Enix Announce Release Date For It’s Next 2D Pixel Remaster

In case you didn’t know, Square Enix announced that they would be planning to update their classic games for fans and new players alike, by remastering Final Fantasy 1-6 for mobile and PC (still no news on whether or not we expect these to be on console any time soon).

Final Fantasy 4 2D Pixel Remaster coming September 8th

Square Enix have recently announced the release date for the next game it’s in ‘2D Pixel Remaster’ collection of games, with Final Fantasy 4. The game will release on PC and mobile platforms on September 8th 2021.

In case you didn’t know, a few months ago, Square Enix announced that they would be planning to update their beloved classics, Final Fantasy 1-6 for mobile and PC (still no news on whether or not we expect these to be on console any time soon).

These 2D Pixel Remasters feature:

  • Updated 2D pixel character and background graphics
  • Rearranged orchestral soundtracks (overseen by Nobuo Uematsu)
  • Improved gameplay
  • Auto-battle options
  • Illustration gallery
  • Music player
  • And the ability to save at any point…

Final Fantasy 4 2D Pixel Remaster will release September 8th 2021 for mobile platforms and PC, so keep your eyes peeled for this one.
