Reynolds’ New Movie ‘Free Guy’ Draws Inspiration From Classic Video Game Art

By now I’m sure you’ve had the marketing rammed down your throat for Ryan Reynolds’ new movie ‘Free Guy’ which released worldwide on August 11th 2021.

After his success with Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds could be seen as an internet sweetheart with most of his projects turning into solid gold and it seems it’s happened once again but not for the reason you might think.

Free Guy getting solid reviews from critics (currently sat on 7.7/10 on IMDB) but it seems the promotional marketing around the film is doing is stealing the show.

The latest marketing ploy has Free Guy paying homage to video games such as Among Us, Minecraft, Doom, Animal Crossing and more.
