Final ‘Smash’ Character Announced…
Sora will be heading into Super Smash Bros Ultimate on October 18th, 2021. Sora is part of the Challenger Pack 11 DLC, which also includes a new stage and a selection of music tracks from the KINGDOM HEARTS franchise.

Yesterday during the Nintendo Direct, hosted by Masahiro Sakurai – it was announced that Sora from Kingdom Hearts will be the final character to join the impressive roster on Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch.

Sakurai harkens back to a public poll (prior to the release of Kingdom Hearts III), that asked fans to choose which character they would like to see in Smash, for future games. As it turns out, nearly 6 years later we finally know the result. It was Sora.
With the addition of Sora it means that the total roster count is 86 total fighters, covering a vast range of video game history, with players being ‘spoiled for choice’ when it comes to selecting their favourite play style.
