Battlefield 2042 – One Of The Most Poorly Reviewed Games On Steam…

Battlefield 2042 is getting reviewed very poorly on Steam right now making it one of the worst rated games on the platform to date.

Battlefield 2042, the latest entry in the Battlefield franchise by DICE and published by EA is getting slammed right now on Steam.

Battlefield 2042 is sitting at an overwhelming 74% NEGATIVE reviews on Steam right now but is it justified?

With over 30,000 + negative reviews left on Steam right now, Battlefield 2042 now risks being one of the most poorly reviewed games of all time – something I doubt the developer or the publisher would really like.

Here are just a few of these reviews:

good thing they delayed the release to make sure they delivered a “finished” game. What a joke.”
– Apdubz on Steam

Sadly I can’t recommend in it’s current state. Reviews can be updated later and I’m confident this one will be, but unfortunately I’ve been let down on this release. This isn’t just a classic Battlefield launch with bugs, I’ve seen what those look like, this is a product of poor decision making mixed with, probably, too early of a release date.”
– Strekkers on Steam

“Unfinished pile of garbage, they are taking us for morons. This game is an insult to the franchise.”
– Dr. Bing Chilling on Steam

It’s safe to say that fans aren’t happy with the current state of the game but it’s important to note that there are a few other places where you can play the game and where it isn’t being publicly ridiculed.

Battlefield 2042 did deploy a post-launch update to address a number of bugs which included random stuttering issues and of course, DICE will continue to deploy fixes to the game to make it a more enjoyable experience to the masses, so keep your eyes out on the changelogs for those.
